The winner of your contest
will receive a weekend for two. They will arrive the afternoon before their scheduled days of fishing at the
Whippoorwill House Bed & Breakfast, located in Yankeetown, Florida on
Riverside Drive across from the scenic Withlacoochee River.
You will be greeted by
proprietors, Gail and Matt Fleming. They will be looking forward to
showing you your accommodations in the original Yankeetown School House built
in 1924 and recently renovated in Old Florida Cracker style and decorated in a
tropical island atmosphere that will carry you away. Consider it the
"Ultimate Angler's Lair."
Forget the car . . . you
won't be needing it for the next two days. Sit back and relax with your
favorite beverage for a while before walking one block to meet Linda and Wayne
Harrington, owners of the Izaak Walton Lodge.
Enjoy an evening of exquisite five-star
dining at the lodge while the ambience is accented by your view of the Withlacoochee River,
designated by the State of Florida as a "Pristine Waterway."
Awake the next morning to the aroma of breakfast
and your lunch-to-go-on-the-water being prepared by Chef Gail.
Walk
again across Riverside Drive to Osprey Landing and board Osprey I, Captain
Rick's state-of-the-art 18 foot Dolphin backcountry flats boat.
Captain Rick will promptly deliver your day's catch to
Executive Chef Jim Brauer at Izaak Walton's. Chef Jim will prepare
your fresh catch for another memorable evening of dining on the banks of the the
Withlacoochee.
